How RigRand works

Where the prices come from

A small program visits each shop's public product listings a few times a day and reads the name, price and stock of computer parts. It identifies itself as RigRandBot, goes slowly and follows each shop's robots.txt rules. We then group the same part from different shops together so you can compare.

Matching is done by computer, so now and then two similar models may be grouped together or the same model may appear twice. Always check the exact model on the shop's page before you buy.

Prices, VAT and delivery

Prices are as shown on the shop's website, including VAT. Delivery is not included and differs per shop. Prices and stock can change between our checks, and the shop's price is the one that counts.

Compatibility check

We read each part's details from its title: CPU socket, motherboard chipset and memory type, board size, memory kit, power supply wattage and the graphics card's typical power. The builder warns you when something won't fit. It's a strong first check, not a guarantee.

We don't sell anything

When you click "View at shop" you go to that shop's own page. You pay the shop, and your order, delivery, returns and warranty are with them.

How we make money

Some links may earn us a small fee from the shop when you visit or buy, at no cost to you. This never changes the order: parts are always sorted by price. We may also show clearly marked adverts.
